Why does CollabVillage Collect Personal Data?
We collect only the personal data you voluntarily provide to us or that is given to us by our affiliated entities or third parties that have your permission to share with us your Personal Data. Personal Data includes your name, sex, email, current location.
Your email is used to verify the legitimacy of the sign in process. For some services, such as the e-mail newsletter, we require your e-mail address to fulfill your request for information. Other information is gathered - some mandatory, some not - which may be used to contact you if we cannot reach you by e-mail.

Unfortunately no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed totally secure and CollabVillage Media cannot warrant to the security of information you transmit to us. Therefore, such transmissions have to be made at your own risk. Once the information has been received, CollabVillage Media will make every effort to ensure the security of its own systems
Content That You Post On CollabVillage
CollabVillage Media is committed to providing you with a safe environment to upload and share content and opinions. You will determine which sections of your profile will be available for viewing by the public and other members of CollabVillage through your privacy settings.and during your initial sign up registration process. Although we allow you to set privacy options that limit access to your profile, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot control the actions of other Users with whom you may choose to share your pages and information. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that User Content you post on the Site will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site. You understand and acknowledge that, even after removal, copies of User Content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other Users have copied or stored your User Content. Your photos, videos, audio tracks, personal information, and other content ("Your Content") that you place on CollabVillage are visible to others, so please post only contents that you are comfortable sharing with all site visitors. You post content (As defined in CollabVillage Terms) on the site at your own risk.

Cookies
CollabVillage Media sets and accesses cookies on your computer. Through the use of cookies, we are able to optimize the performance and functionality of our site, and to personalize our site for you and present you with content and offers specific to your interests. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. We use session ID cookies to confirm that users are logged in. These cookies will terminate once the user closes the browser. By default we use a persistent cookie that stores your login ID, but not your password, to make it easier for you to login when you return to CollabVillage .
IP Address
We may analyze IP addresses in the aggregate for system administration purposes and to gather broad demographic information.
If you choose to use our invitation service to tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for information needed to send the invitation, such as your friend's email address. We will send your friend an email in your name inviting him or her to visit the site.
Daily Use
When you use CollabVillage , you may set up your personal profile, form connections, send electronic messages, perform searches and queries, add applications, and transmit information through various channels. We collect this information so that we can provide you the service and offer personalized features. In most cases, we retain it so that, for instance, you can return to view prior messages you have sent or easily see your followers or who you are following. When you update information, we usually keep a backup copy of the prior version for a reasonable period of time to enable reversion to the prior version of that information.

Third Party Service Providers
CollabVillage may share your personally identifiable information with those companies that assist us in providing the Service to you. Specifically, we may use third parties to facilitate our business, such as to host the service at a co-location facility for servers, to send out email updates about CollabVillage , to remove repetitive information from our user lists, to offer an online job application process, or to provide search results or links (including sponsored links). In connection with these offerings and business operations, our service providers may have access to your personal information for use for a limited time in connection with these business activities.
CollabVillage Media Inc does not provide Registration Information to third party advertisers (Unless you choose to share it with them); however, third party advertisers are allowed to collect information from the site that enables them to target advertisements. They may download cookies to your computer, or use JavaScript or other web beacons (Also known as 1X1 gifs), to measure the effectiveness of their ads or to personalize advertising content. Further, by interacting with or viewing an ad you are consenting to the possibility that the advertiser will make the assumption that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad. We engage third parties to assist us by tracking the number of visitors to our website, including visitors that have "clicked-through" to specific promotions on third party websites. CollabVillage does not have control or access to the cookies that may be placed on your computer by third party advertisers. This privacy policy covers the use of cookies by CollabVillage and does not cover the use of cookies or other tracking technologies by any of its advertisers.
Your Copyrights
CollabVillage Media Inc respects the intellectual property rights of others. We claim no ownership rights in any image/video/sound contained in any of Your Profile/Portfolio/Job Application/Job Post. Please note that when you post Your Content, you allow the recipients of that content to download and use the images or other information that you have posted.
Correct/Update
If you want to review or change any information you previously provided to us, please go to the "Settings" section of the site.
Deleting Your CollabVillage Account
If you wish to delete your account with CollabVillage Media Inc, please go to the "Settings" section of the site. Removed information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time but will not be generally available to members of CollabVillage . Your account and all content that you have placed on the site will be removed from our database. Once you have deleted your account the following may occur:
If you made use of our communication tools such as sending electronic messages to other CollabVillage Members, your messages will no longer be accessible. If you applied for Job Posts your application will no longer be valid. CollabVillage Media will send an email to the Account who posted the job, informing them you are no longer a Member of CollabVillage.
Security
CollabVillage Media Inc has security measures in place to protect the loss and alteration of the information under our control. Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Statement, access to that data is limited to authorized staff members and is further restricted by password protection mechanisms.
CollabVillage may contain links to other sites CollabVillage is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such other websites
Any improper collection or misuse of information provided on CollabVillage is a violation of the CollabVillage 's Terms of Use.
